Disputes
Being ignored
Section 14 requires a payment schedule to be issued in proper time otherwise the whole amount
becomes due and can be retrieved.
Should the other party choose to ignore your claim by default they become liable for the
whole amount and cannot bring any cross claim to withhold the payment.
Should they choose to ignore you after a 17(2) notice they will almost certainly have to pay the
whole claimed amount regardless of the validity of the claim.
